Windows Messenger shown below, is not the same as MSN Messenegr (http://messenger.msn.com/Xp/Default.aspx), right ?

1) Did one come out of the other one ?

So is 1 better than the other for most users/home users?

MSN Messenger is the choice for home users and people who don't use corporate communication systems such as Live Communication Server and Exchange 2000......
