OSX thinks it is a Mac Pro, the important part is to use Gigabyte motherboards they have the fewest compatibility issues.
thanks for this man. whats the latest torrent name for the files? back when i was doing it we had different developers releasing operating systems, is it still done this way?

No torrents, just look up everything at www.tonymacx86.com

You burn a CD called 'iboot' which is the bootloader, telling OS X to not look for the TPM. After loading into a menu, you pop in your Snow Leopard disc, install it (usually in safe mode) and reboot.

A second set of files called Multibeast include kexts/drivers, you install those upon the first bootup of Snow Leopard. Takes about 1 to 2 hours total.
