Mac Boot Camp help
I recently decided to upgrade to Windows 7 on my BootCamp partition so I deleted my old XP installation. I accidently clicked on Cancel while it was deleting/combining the partition but it finished anyway. Now I can't repartition the drive.
Under Disk Utility Info for my MacHD, it says I have 2 partitions which means to me somewhere it did go wrong during the deleting/combining step. The Boot Camp utility asked me to format it as a single disk, but I don't know how to do that.
I really hope I don't have to delete anything, any help would be great.

Not that this is of any help to you, but is Apple actually supporting Windows 7 under Boot Camp now? The last time I checked they were only supporting through Vista. That was before 10.6.2 was released though so I don't know if Boot Camp also got a bump at that time.

I should probably check that. I'm just unwilling to deal with Vista, but can go back to XP if necessary. I bought the Windows 7 with my student discount so no real loss I guess if I can't install it.
I'm sure it will install no problem but they aren't officially supporting it until some point at the end of the year.

What changes that will bring, IDK. Probably they will have tested the drivers under windows 7 but since Vista driver should work no problem in Windows 7 there shouldn't be a real reason to wait.
The most sure fire way I can think to solve you problem is to backup all your data to time machine then reformat the hard drive an reinstall OS X and then use the migration assistant to restore from time machine all your data. It will take a few hours but most of the process is pretty automated. You'll get all your data back and should be able to run boot camp setup assistant again.
