oooh I'm interested.

My friend got one of these phones for free but he's in canada and needs to get it unlocked to registered up here.

D'oh! Canada...Since he/she's there, I would recommend finding a site that offers remote locking. It'll cost like $15 bucks which is the same price as the cable/software but you don't have to pay for shipping and its a one shot deal.
