I'm looking for a new laptop and was just wanted to get some opinions on whats out there. If you have one, what kind and how's it perform? I'm looking for an economical one as well, like under $2,000. I'm not looking for specific configuration details cause I now what I need. Just looking for good brands which offer the most for the money. Thanks for the help.

Definetly most anything in the Evo line, I know they may be a little pricier than the Dell's, but those suckers pack a serious punch. Most of the 610C's have built in wireless (), and many come default with DVD/CDRW's multibays.
Now I might be a little biased (hehe), but I think the 610C will kick the crap out of any Dell you can get for that price range.
