So I ended up getting the bag on Friday instead of today. I ordered it 2nd day air because I need it for a workshop I'm teaching this Friday. I need to lug a lot of books and my laptop and I needed a bag so what a better time to give it a try.
I wish I had known it was shipping out of Valencia, CA. I could have done ground and saved another $15 but oh well.
So I loaded the bag up yesterday to bring my stuff to work since I'm staying late, damn it can hold a lot of stuff. I haven't even fully filled it up yet.
The seams are very nicely done, the material is top-notch. The back support is unreal. After loading it up and lifting up the bag it felt very heavy, after putting it on my back, didn't feel that heavy at all. Definitely worth the money. I think I'll be getting my moneys worth on this thing.
answer this for me... My bag had these little round felt thingamajigs with an adhesive backing to apply them to something. There were over 10 of them scattered in the pockets of the bag. What the heck are they for?

Well the bag I bought started to come apart at a seam so I opened a warranty claim with Booq. Today they honored the warranty and gave me a store credit for the full amount that I paid for the bag a little over a year ago and I don't have to pay for shipping. Damn their warranty and customer service kicks ass.
Now I'm looking at using the credit to get this bag and iPod case:

If any of you guys are looking for a good laptop bag, after having my first bag and now having a great customer service experience, I highly suggest checking out Booq. www.booqbags.com

I have a Slappa:
http://www.slappa.com/site/velocity-matrix.html
Super high quality, soft felt inside, even has a moisture-proof drink compartment!
Good price, and they send me all sorts of free stuff since I've bought it.
Camera case, mp3 player pouch, CD book inserts, etc....

www.ogio.com you can get em cheap in the Ebay
I have a Tumi that I used to use at my last job (I traveled about 75%). Eighteen months of four flights per week and it still looks absolutely perfect. It is also now about 7 years old and does not look one bit out of style.
Some of the bags you guys posted are not really appropriate for corporate use.

Looks like I found my next bag, glad to see my comments of wanting a new BOA bag made there way to them.

The medium version can hold a DSLR and a 15" MB/MBP.

I have, I've always loved TUMI bags, they are just so expensive. The booq bags are a nice compromise in the middle.
I want to carry my camera, laptop and such with me all the time and it's hard finding a good bag that can do that and have a little bit extra space for other stuff that also looks good.

So being the good AZ member that I am I decided to search before making a new thread. After reading through this thread I also have decided to go with a booq bag! This one looks like it fits my needs the best. The Tumi's look good but were too expensive.

It looks like it could hold my 15in MBP, iPad, iPhone and ZuneHD (keepin it OG!)

Nice pickup Stunna. YOu'll be happy, also be aware that their warranty kicks a$$ so if you have problems with it, just call them up.
Also, if there's one thing on their bags that I've noticed is prone to failure it's their straps and where their straps connect to the bag.

Sly, while reading through this thread I had pretty much decided on the booq bag early on and I was surprised to see that you also went with them. Then reading your experience with them sealed the deal for me. So then my hunt for a coupon began....

I just re-read the thread again and realized I didn't post up my third experience with them.
The 2nd bag I purchased using the store credit from the first warranty claim started coming apart at a seam where the shoulder strap connected (hence my comment about the seams earlier). So I called them up, told them I wasn't happy with it, they once again took the bag back and gave me full credit and I applied that towards a python bag (this version is no longer available, they now have a newer version).

I've had that bag for well over a year now and so far, no issues.

I've had that bag for well over a year now and so far, no issues.

So after 3.5 years with this bag it's still holding up great! I have some fraying on the cushion of shoulder strap but that's it.
Now that I've replaced my 15 MBP with a 13in rMBP I figured I'd downsize my bag, since it's currently swimming around in my bag made for the 15in MBP.
I checked back in with www.booqbags.com and found the boa courier and it looks like a great bag for my 13 rMBP and iPad Air. I like the extra strap and reflective strip for when I want to take my bike but carry my laptop, etc.
I've been floating the idea of getting a 2nd bag/backpack for carrying my laptop so that I could use my bike more to get around. My current bag while great is solely an over the shoulder bag. This looks like it does both well, super excited about it, and it has a handle! Of course now that my rMBP doesn't have an HDD with moving parts I can feel safe carrying it in my bike and not damaging the HDD with my bumpy movements.
I'm probably going to go with this unless someone's got a better recommendation? My only complaint is the light accent color, I know that's going to get real dirty looking after a few years.
