Killer smartphone apps
Just curious what your favorite apps are:
Full Screen Caller is great. Nothing like having a 320x200 picture pop up as caller ID. (I have a E61).
Google maps mobile (maps.google.com/gmm) is ULTRA cool since it displays traffic! Not as good as it sounds, but it's really neat just the same!
and of course, the usual web browser and e-mail.

How do you like your E61? I'm thinking about possibly getting a smartphone, and I'm not sure which to get. I currently have cingular, but I'm out of contract. Does the E61 have wifi? I hear the cingular verison (e62?) doesn't have wifi....if this is true, can you get the wifi version and hook it up to cingular's service?

The E61 is technically an overseas camera, but mine works fine on Cingular.
Well, besides the fact that Cingular kinda sucks, but that's a signal problem in my area.
Overall, i'm pretty happy with the E61.
No major complaints, although I would prefer a D-pad over the joystick. Oh, the pop-port is a bit lame.
I happen to have a chinese version so it's nice to be able to read chinese stuff.
S60 3rd edition is a bit lacking on apps, but it has all the major ones I want, and the selection is growing. The screen is absolutely fantastic. I used to always use Palms, and I thought I would miss the touchscreen, but I don't. I don't play games much though. Wifi is fantastic, although it does eat the batteries.
Note the E61 has no camera. I didn't want one, though.

the e95 doesn't work on the 900mhz band....so not sure how well it will work on cingular?

sorry, the phone works on GSM850/1800/1900 MHz and I just realized that cingular uses 850 and 1900....so you should be fine with the N95
Whiskers, hook me up too!

WCDMA2100 (HSDPA), EGSM900, GSM850/1800/1900 MHz (EGPRS)
what the hell is EGSM? first time i've head of it...
it can be bought directly from nokia, and its probably going to be 600-800 dollars per phone judging on the price of the current N80. BTYw, shipping would be like 80 dollars per phone.
