Just got Nokia 6600; switched from T610
Hi, I thought I'd share my experiences with my bluetooth phones.
I've been using the Sony T610 with my TL for 3 months. Works great, except the problem with the MID gets stuck on the phone view and you can't dial from the Navi.
I just picked up a Nokia 6600 and it paired with no problems. The only problem is that the MID does not show the signal or batt meter. Otherwise, it works great. Overall a better phone.
One thing that is an improvement is the phone doesn't get stuck like the T610 did.
As for the differences between the 2 phones, I recommend the Nokia despite its larger size. The Nokia's menu, screen, speakerphone, camera, and other features are a big plus. Also, I was told the reception is better, I'll report on that later.

I noticed that in addition to not having the batt and signal meter, I don't get the Caller ID number in the display.
Does anyone know if this is a problem on Nokia's end or Acura's?
Any solutions?
Thanks

I received a similiar email a couple days ago...This is part of my reply. Ah, the Nokia 6600. I owned one of those in a past life.
You are correct that no information such as battery life, reception or caller ID will appear on the MID. Unfortunately there are no work arounds for the Nokia series 60 phones (3650, 3660, 3620, 6600, 7610) just yet. This is how Nokia wants their information transmitted via bluetooth and the only people who could fix this is their engineers, not their service centers as they only know how to fix current problems but not "make" things happen.
