itunes help from ipod owners
ok guys heres the prob. every time i hook up my ipod to my comp it keeps trying to download the same songs over and over again from itunes. and also i have a porb where i cant locate any other songs on my comp becuase when i go to import the files to itunes it wont pick them up becuase they are not text files(wtf is it looking for text files for) so how did i add diffrent songs to my ipod befor i throw this thing into a wall or something.... help
I guess if you communicated your issues in more complete, non-fragmented sentences I'd be after to figure out WTF you're trying to say.
So, you rip a new CD... And you put the new songs in iTunes??? Then when you connect your iPod, the new songs don't get placed on your iPod???
And your other issue. Locate your songs through Windows Explorer. Open iTunes and drag the songs from Windows Explorer into the iTunes library window.

sorry scib i type fast and dont notice stuff is wrong untill after i typed what ever it is im trying to say. as for my problems i have almost 500 songs on my comp and i can not seem to import them to itunes. every time i go to the folder that the songs are located in itunes does not see them, and also when i am tring to import the songs itunes will not let me change what type of file im looking for
When you want to add songs to iTunes, dont use import, go to File->Add Files and manually browse and select songs. Your iPod is always in sync with your iTunes so if you make any changes to song names, album names, or genres, or if you delete a song from iTunes your iPod will reflect these changes. Just got my iPod on Friday, I've spent hours organizing my iTunes so far.
