There are approximately 552 applications that made the iPhone App Store launch. There are seven tip calculators, three flashlight applications, nine Bible-related entries, two Zen garden applications, five blackjack games, and almost 10 percent of the entries are ebooks. There is an application to simulate the playing of a tiny violin to console your friends, a Light Saber emulator, an application that gives you a cartoon eye, and two applications that simulate the look of a beer mug. We have surely come into a new age of computing.

I got to work at 7:30 and can see the AT&T store next to my building. That thing had a nice sized line. Probably about 50. They were interviewing the people in front. Some cute chicks actually. The staff was already there but I didn't see customers inside. Methinks they opened at 8 although not advertised as it was classified info.

I got mine this am and thankfully it only took me 30 min to activate when I got home! 
I love it...I'm so glad I decided to upgrade!
My only regret is I didn't get the amount I hear people are selling their 1st gen iPhones for.
