Worthy of note but I feel like it needs to be smaller. I like competition.

ya it's called the nokia E70 http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=iphone
good work LG all they did was smash the e70 into a iphone very original. you'd be better off with a N95. Also as a former LG phone owner they are the suck!

I have both, the iPhone and the Nokia N95, and all I can say, is that while the iPhone is undeniably cool, it's a toy when seriously compared with the N95

I think this new Voyager will be my new phone. Since I have a 2 year contract remaining with Verizon.

how open is the n95 to development/3rd party apps? How good is the touch screen (comparable to the 8525)?

The N95 runs on Symbian, so its very open. It doesn't have a touch screen

Pricing hasn't been announced but it's expected to be competitive with or less than Apple's $399
Anyone want to take a stab at the price? I'm thinking $350 maybe? Ugg with new after two dropping that to $250, it's still more than I'd ever pay for a phone. I'm still under my 30 day trial because I just signed a new contract. It's temping to hold out another month.

Have you been able to get any "REAL" info on that phone? Their web site is like smoke and mirrors about these new phones... even cnet is sketch

Lame.

Hardly an iphone killer.

The whole purpose of the iphone is simplicity, and the fact that it just works with the apps you use everyday…

The LG has way too much crap on there, stuff that just clutters up the OS, and is bound to break, or just be a nuisance to have.

And, its twice as thick as the iphone…. Because they put in the flip keyboard thing What, they weren’t innovative enough to come up with a touch screen keyboard? Or they just couldn’t come up with a decent on?

Nice try…. but no thanks.

One day you folks will come around…

I hate touch screens. What happens when the screen is damaged on an iPhone? 100% unuseable. At least with a phone with hard buttons, you can still use the phone if the screen breaks. The premise of the iphone is nice, but I just don't see any reason to spend the extra on that phone vs. something more practical.
