Angry iPhone 4 + Bluetooth Connectivity Issues

Anyone else have an iPhone 4 that has been paired properly to their car's bluetooth system, but find that the phone is not connecting to it automatically each time you start the car?

The car/phone connection seems to be lost almost each time I turn off/on the car again for another trip or on another day. Re-pairing the phone with the car does not solve it even though the phone says it's "discoverable"...Have tried turning bluetooth off-on again on the phone too. Often find you have to start from scratch and delete the car from the phone itself and do a brand new pairing.

I am starting to hear this might be a common complaint from even the very first iPhone. Any rumours on if the new operating system will address this?

My iPhone 4 paired up with my 06 TL faster than I thought it would. It was working before I thought I finished the steps. And it works every time I turn on the car.

I've had every iPhone except the first one. All have paired and stayed connected to my 04TL fine, sorry. One software upgrade did act strange for just a month or two though.
