IP Privacy Software

Any suggestions on an easy to use but effective program to spoof or hide my IP address?

don't know of a program since your router adds your external IP to you packet once it passes through the router so any change you made in a program on your PC would be pointless. you could use a Free proxy server or VPN online and that would hide your identity

I wondered about that - the router assigning an address.

So is there a free proxy server you'd recommend?

Try this. just heard of it through a colleague. Looks like a VPN kind of thing for free?
