I ended up getting the wife a free upgrade too.

Going from the Mogul to this was not very easy. I found myself dependant on the scroll wheel and all of the buttons on the Mogul. I really have to put the Touchfloo to work on this think so it takes some getting used to. I am not a stylus user but I haven't really found many times where I have had to use it yet.

I want to flash a custom ROM on it but I haven't found the time needed to learn how. Nor am I sure of which one to go with.

I like the adaptor and the 3.5mm capablility allowed of it. I am eagerly awaiting delivery of the video output cord that I ordered.

I heeded Darkith's advice and QUICKLY put a protective case and screen protector on it.

I luckily don't know the speed of any other devices as I have only used the Mogul so the speed of this is sufficient. I am more of a buisness user though, so contacts, calendars, email, and sync with outlook are the most important to me. I travel a lot too, so GoogleMaps and internet come in handy.

This phone combined with my $50 SERO plan are still a winner.

I rocked a Treo 650 for 3 years... I quess I was expecting more when I upgraded.... I am really a HEAVY duty user, so anything less than stellar shows up pretty fast!

For a light to medium user, I really think this phone will be more than enough... I just cannot be waiting around for the phone to give me a freaking number to dial!!!!...

The keyboard was one of the reasons I ditched my sprint mogul. forgot to mention it in my other post. for some strange reason my mogul would type duplicate letters over and over again. So instead of "spoon" it would spit out "spoooooonn".

ROM updates, reboots, nothing fixed the problem.

I have the same problem on my XV6800 (same as Mogul)... It is pretty irritating...

Mine is more with the keys toward the middle of the keyboard though. Sometime it won't take the keypress, and other times it would put duplicates.

My palm Treo was about 2 years old and s/p one huge drop onto the floor before 2 keys on the edge that hit started acting up.... I was so hopeful that this phone would be such a big help...

Hate to hear of your misfortune. Hopefully you find a more reliable one that suits your fancy. I am still trying to learn the TP and I really miss the wheel and buttons that were on my MOGUL. I am going to switch out my TP before my 30 days is up to reset the 30 days and hopefully the pre will be out during my second thirty day run so I can switch to it...

^^ Just about everyone with issues is gettin a new in box replacement at this time. Mainly due to refurb shortage on these. I just ditched mine after 3 mths. Im considering the Palm Pro to use temp till the PRE releases. Should b by summer due to the delayed launch of the Palm Pro.

...are you still liking this cover?

...since I just got another one, that is blemish-free, was thinking about putting one on now...before I drop it!

...also, how hard is it to remove if you have to take it off?

thanks alot!

Still like it. I didn't put it on quite right but it looks good. I ended up ordering two more spares when they were going for so cheap.

I am considering selling it though when the Pro2 is available.
