Have the bubbles dissipated yet?
So now that you have had it for almost a week, what are your impressions?
I mainly want it for the screen. I'm on my 2nd screen protector, and it is all scratched up so I'm considering this since they say it doesn't get scratches.

I know nothing beat an opinion from a AZ member, but there have been a bunch of comparisons done online.

Maybe they will help you decide?

Update:
1. HTC TP continues to be hugely useful but a fragile friend... I chipped the chrome... not pretty yall! I got it to read my texts and emails and reminders thru my BT headset... kinda cool... or maybe I am just late to this party!
2. Got a clear case online for about 10 bucks... wish I had been able to get one earlier...
3. Scored a Jawbone 2... sweet rig... sound assassin in crazy sick... weird operating without real switches...JB paired rite up w/out a firmware update... I know some folks were having probs with windows mobile 6.1 and the JB

Touch Pro is a real nice phone, bought mine the day it came out. Went to about 3 different Sprint store before i found one that had the phone. I had the regular Touch, and it's a big upgrade from it lol. I think i wont need a new phone for a long time.

HELLO!
Qwik question: does anyone have a good program I can use to organize my contacts? The program that is built in is useless and will make you want to jump off a bridge!!! When I am in a hurry I always get the wrong person...never mind if you are driving....the screen is far too sensitive when using the contacts and the letters on the right side of the screen are far too small!
HELP me out someone!!!

How many contacts do you need to access? A few that you use all the time, or your whole contact list?
Are you talking about the HTC 3D Touch Flow interface, or the basic Windows Mobile one?
Have you tried the MS Voice Command program?
I use a program called SPB Mobile Shell. It has a Contacts section that you can have pictures for 15 contacts. When you click on one of the contacts, it will go to a screen with options of what you want to do, like Call Mobile, Call Work, Send SMS, etc.
I have pictures of many of my contacts in Outlook, and it syncs to the phone. The picture is also good for when receiving a call, it will show the picture (basic WM function).
If you click on the blank contact in the bottom right corner, the keypad will pop up, and you can start typing in the name, and it will give suggestions. The basic WM phone does this too, but the SPB one has more options when you select the contact you want.
I used to use a program called Pocket Informant, which also displayed pictures, and you could "flick" through the list, or click on one of the letters on the right to jump to a letter. Pretty nice, but I didn't really use it much, so didn't reinstall it after doing the firmware upgrade on my phone.

Now I am still on the Mogul, but I use the exact programs that Kikaida does. For quick dialing my wife, close family, close friends, and immediate buisness contacts I use SPB mobile shell.
For sorting through my +200 contacts I use Informant 2007. Informant is also good for their calendar, tasks, and memo interfaces. It has an endless amount of changeable settings built in (for instance, although I'm using the same program my contact interface looks nothing the one posted above). The better your contacts are organized in outlook, the better Informant works.

Just did a check. Looks like you can DL the program directly to your phone from here:
http://download.pocketinformant.com/...nglish.WM5.cab
I think it will be in trial mode though until you purchase it and get a serial number.
I was not aware that the phone was out already on VZW. I will have to go to the store and check it out. Not going to get it though, as I just got my XV6800 last year...

Damn, I just ordered the full body shield for the Cingular 8525 which was 30% off of $4.95. Could have saved an extra buck!
I have an Verizon XV6800 which is a different model, but the screensize should be the same, and thats all I wanted.
That discount code looks like it is for the CES?

Not sure. I think I did mine from the PC. If the file is a .exe or .zip, then it you need to do it from the PC. If it is a .cab, then you can do it from the phone through the browser.

a velcro closure was about the dumbest idea they ever had. I might have a handmade leather belt case up for sale soon if you're interested. Made in Hong Kong...it's really nice.

Looks pretty cool. It seems as if it is more conference calling functionality that was added. A plus for me, but I don't know how many people it would be a plus for. I wonder if it would make it here to the states.
Nonetheless I still have my Mogul and I LOVE it, but I would really like to upgrade to the Touch Pro. I wonder if they are still replacing Moguls with Moguls through the service plan, or if they have moved to upgrades with the Sprint Touch Pro...

Most of us who like that phone seem to have one of the other HTC offerings...HTC makes some pretty nice "practical/functional" phones. Not just eye-candy!

I just got this phone 2 weeks ago! Great phone right off the bat! Email is good, texting is awesome. The keys are perfct for a keyboard not too slippy or small...
The only drawback i see about this phone is the batterylife.. I need to check my email a ton a day and i use the wireless internet at work for various things.. for a decent amount of use of those 2, The battery seems to just suck down! So I am considering purchasing a second battery for my needs!
But Otherwise this phone is top notch!

I went into a sprint store today with my Mogul and told them of my syncing problems with my phone. Since I have the $7 warranty/service plan she said they would order me another one for no charge and once I received it at the house I could just send my current one back in.
I told the girl, it would be nice if you could just make it a Touch Pro, and she said, you know what, that is what they are sendiing you, A NEW TOUCH PRO!
I am EXCITED!

Hopefully the TP2 will have bigger touch buttons so you can work them w/out the stylus... and as much as I love the look of the chrome finish, its as fragile as wet paper and just as thin...put an invishield on it before you take it anywhere!!!!!!.... mine looks butt ugly rite now and even the thinnest case is thick on this small phone.... I will NOT be getting another... plus WM is Soooooooooooooooo Sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow!
