How do I remove a partition using Windows XP

I have two partitions. THe C: is 6.5 gb and D: is 12 gb. Windows XP is on the C and I want to make it so that C is 14gb and D is the remainder. How would I go about doing this without buying software?

Hey Rosh, no need to reformat

Powerquest PartitionMagicPro allowed me to merge my C and D drives into one big C drive. PM me your email addy if you dont have any limitations for email size I'll see if I can send you it and whatever you need to make it work. Do you have a cable modem?

You can easily get the program, go to KAZZA.com and download the Kazza program, it will allow you to share files with thousand of other users. once you download it, search for the Partition magic program and download it, you will also have to download the serial code for the program.
