Got pulled over for tinted windows.

My friend got pulled over for tinted windows. The cop asked us if we hava any weapons, weed, and if we were drinking. I was wondering..... If you have a knife in your car or a pellet gun can you get put to jail? Also, isnt' there a law for the length of the knife the longer sentence or something like that?

i have a question, and im being totally serious about this cause my mom works for the police and i know alot cops around town.

do you guys dress in jerseys/baggy clothes, or did he have rims or things to that nature on the car or him.

only reason i ask, is why the hell would a cop ask those questions, if he didnt suspect something already, and the only thing i can think of is maybe he looked at the appearance of the car and/or u guys.

any, im sure that knife rule may apply, every state is different, but ya shouldnt carry that crap around anyway. stick to a bat or something that is actually allowed in a car.

I don't think a pocket knife counts, I know I carry one in my glove box. Cops are such assholes sometimes.

Oh and to UNC. I actually used to have an Eclipse with Chrome wheels, System, Euro tails, the works, and I shit you not, I got pulled over 14 times in a year and 1/2 and every time, it was get out of the car and they were searching, and it wasn't ever just one cop that would do it, I never made it through an entire stop with less than 3 cop cars there

i mean im not trying to sound like a dick here, but cops these days judge u by your looks and the way ur car looks. thats one of the reasons i dont want chrome rims on my car. cause if they see me with tinted windows, chrome rims, and blasting my stereo, they might think im from "tha hood" or something, but when i role my window down they see a whiteboy in kenneth cole clothes. lol

it is true that they have no right to search your car without proper cause, or them suspecting something. but if they ask to check your car, and u say no, that gives them a better idea of what their dealing with.
