Invites come and go and right now they're not there. Might be back up again tomorrow though. You'll see an invite button on the bottom right. For now, you can try the Post share trick to invite which is what people are doing when the invites are not there. They sometimes work but its not a gurantee. Here's a quick tutorial on how to do it and increase your chances of getting them in:
Add the person you want to add into your GMail contacts.
Add that person into a circle of your choice (preferably Friend or Family, you could always move them later on).
Create a post on your stream and make it limited to whoever you want.
Share that post to the person's email address you're trying to add.
They'll receive an e-mail and its just luck from that point.
Also, it seems the more people that share post invite, the higher your chances of getting in.

You can contribute to it as well if you sign in with your Google accounts. Its basically like Wikipedia in real-time. Might have to keep retrying because a lot of people are contributing to it at the same time but you can read it.

So I couldn't figure out why the mobile app wasn't working on my phone, well I figured out my account is under a completely different email, so could one of you guys send an invite to madcaps1980@gmail.com, thanks!

Lol. Yeah my phone was going crazy with the notifications. Trying to minimize that with the new thread. You get kinda caught up with the realtime commenting on there its almost like you're chatting instead of just posting.

Just a heads up, if you're already in Google+ share your Google Profile link as its easier to add you to the circles. I'm trying to add everyone to the Acurazine circles so everyone can add each other. If you're still waiting for an invite then give your e-mail address. I think invites are up again. At least, I can see them on mine right now.
