Good wifi hotspot finder software?

What's everyone using nowdays? I want something that will give me a list of nearby open AP's and will allow me to choose one and connect. I know way back I used to use a good one but forgot the name of it...

Netstumbler works great, but after I would reboot my laptop the wireless card would never work. I believe this is due to a lack of a "prism" based card. I like to use the one with windows now, it is just easier than requiring another piece of software.

This isn't software.....but it means you don't have to fire up your laptop to check access points: http://www.canarywireless.com/
