Getting rid of a "smell" from my laptop
I have noticed this smell from a few laptops.
Well I used to use this laptop nonstop for about a year. I just started using it after no use for 6 months.
It has this horrific smell, that I assume is coming from under the keyboard. Everytime I open it it stinks.
I'm not sure if that means something is fried inside of there, or it just needs to be taken apart and cleaned.
Any suggestions on what to do, should I just take it apart?
The smell almost smells like a sex...it smells like a girls pussy after orgasm. Yes I know that will cause quite a few non-serious answers fromt he peanut gallery, but I suppose there will be a few that can offer some actual help.

if you've ruled out the whole jizz thing, then i think i know whats wrong
there's a powder that is on all keyboards for PC's and laptops that is supposed to prevent fires if water is spilled on it. it sounds to me like your laptop sat to long and to much moisture sat in there and made that powder react. i would recommend either blowing it out with an air gun for an air compressor or taking the keys off and soaking them and then blow it off and let it all dry... but don't fuck up the keys when you put 'em back on... good luck

perfect...thanks.
I'll try that out tomorrow...
If you do take off the keyboard, which from what I understand is a PITA to do, and soak it make sure it dries very well, for about a week actually. I've never experienced something like this, although mine can smell like cigars after a few days of being in a hotel room. Letting mine sit out works fine.
