Free V710 with new subscription
yes, and no... yes because there were a TON of issues with the v600 (the v710 still has some)
on the other hand, the v600 ONLY works with tmobile, att/cingular as they are GSM phones with a sim card. The v710 is only available for verizon.
Do you have one of those cell companies?

If you are happy with the coverage so far - don't switch. Just use the new every 2 and get the v710. If you WANT a change... I would suggest att/cingular. You can get a lot of phones - they have pretty damn good coverage everywhere in the US (verizon is still slightly better).... the problem with cingular/att you need to find a GOOD phone (reception wise) the v600 is pretty crappy...if you are willing to shell out the money for the razr v3 I have heard it has pretty good quality (although I think that people say that based only on the fact that it looks good)
The nokia 6230b for cing/att has teh absolute best reception - i have it - i do NOT like the candy bar style phones... it makes me mad... that and the fact that all nokias get dust behind the screen is annoying (you have to pull it apart to clean it out, not hard, just annoying)
It works great with teh HFL with the exception of the signal and battery being displayed...
I am going to switch to verizon and hopefully get the unlimited minutes anytime minutes... and get the V710 - update it to the new firmware that has been discussed on the forums here which display the signal and battery strenght
