Firefox version 23

I upgraded to version 23 from version 22. Now with 23 it puts a tab browser under the address bar. So that adds a line & takes away a line from the webpages. I see no way to get rid of it. I had to downgrade back to 22 cause I can't stand the tab. Anyone able to get rid of it? I changed nothing in my setup from 22 to 23.

I'm on version 23 and mine is still the same, so just adjust with the view toolbars options.

No help there. The options are set the same way on 22 as 23.

  1. type "about:config" (without quotes)
  2. go to "browser.tabs.onTop" or enter into search field
  3. double-click the "browser.tabs.onTop" preference to set its value to true
  4. restart Firefox (if necessary... not necessary on 22)
