I had this phone before I got the BB storm. Actually I still have it as a backup phone.
It's a great phone. Good battery life, compact and great for texting. It's pretty durable as well. I've dropped it a couple of times and it still works.

I've had this phone for 2 days now and it's definitely the best phone I've ever had. It quickly flips screens when I go from vertical to horizontal screen. I absolutely love the magic E-Ink. I'm surprised there aren't any other makers out there with this kind of technology. I find it very useful, probably better than a touch screen. I can go from T9 to QWERTY to a just a flip of the phone.
I haven't tried any 3rd party apps, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of them work.
I'm still partial to flip phones. If I wasn't cheap I would have bought the Samsung Omnia but VZW makes you pay for a data plan. Oh well.
