Experience with goodwill credits?

Man, i just found out that somehow I rang up a $500 phone bill, up from my usual $60 a month. I went way over minutes last month and this month. So I paid what was due at the time ($200) and still owe $300 next billing cycle. I really dont have that much money, and the girl on the phone was telling me that since i've been with T-Mobile for a few years, and if i switched to a higher plan, they'd do a 'goodwill' credit and take some of that money off. Anyone ever had it done for them before?

ahh, i dont have it in front of me, but my current plan is

600 anytime
100 bonus
free nights and wknds
text messaging
t-zones (online)

everything winds up being $70.

the new plan would include all above except minutes would change to 1000 anytime, for $90. I think its worth it to keep me from going over again.

if its gunna save u money in the long run go for it. overage costs are really expensive, 20 more dollars monthly is much better than paying overage costs any month. its a no brainer son
