I am getting sick of carrying 2 phones.

1 for personal and one crackberry. I a long time ago dropped my personal plan down to the minimum minutes and no data.

My personal phone contract is up and I am in for a new phone but my boss ok'ed us to use the work phone for personal use (not exactly kosher with the company though)

Now I have had my personal phone number for 14 years and everyone who contacts me uses that number, very rarely calling me on my home number. Now how hard is it for them to cancel that phone plan and move the number over to my work phone thus saving me $55 a month.

Don't mess with the company phone.

Change your home number to your personal cell number, then have calls forwarded to your work phone if you can't give your personal contacts the work number.

I'd keep work and personal numbers separate. If you don't and there is a separation from your employer, it will end up taking the BB and your personal number.

 

With the shitty economy, keep both...
