Alright, I read the instructions that are on a page linked from here which was posted earlier in the thread...
http://www.america.htc.com/support/m...downloads.html
Guess it looks pretty easy enough. Now just gotta do it and hope for the best.

When you update the ROM do you lose your text messages? Unfortunately when you sync your computer using ActiveSync it doesn't sync your text messages and I have a lot that I don't want to lose.

Yes, you do lose your text messages. I have heard that there are programs out there that will allow you to back up your text messages, but I have never tried it before. When you update your ROM it's brand new, like you first pulled it out the box. Everything has to be redone.

Guess I'll wait till this new update comes out. The only thing at the moment that I really want is that damn Rev A upgrade.
I need to look into how to backup the text messages. I've seen it before too, just don't remember where I saw it.

Thanks man! I tried it out and everything worked like a charm.
I updated to the current ROM that is out just to get an idea of what it would be like.
It took me about a half hour to do the ROM update and re-sync my phone with all my data and restore my text messages.
The only thing that's a pain is that you have to re-establish a connection to ActiveSync so you have to go through the hassle of setting up a port on your phone and all that stuff (I use BlueTooth to sync). It wasn't hard, just tedious.
Thanks a lot for the help. now I can't wait for that Rev A upgrade

Just installed the HTC Task Manager App.

Now when I click the "X" button for a program it actually closes the damn program.

I hope Verizon releases the update too, but I doubt it...
Here is another good program to put on your Mogul!
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...1&postcount=19
It will show your battery strength in 1% increments instead of 10%!

Hopefully it will for us Mogul users too.

They're working on the page that the download info will be on!
I noticed the text they had used for the download link changed.
Earlier today it said:
"Download Version 2.17.651.0"
Now it just says "Download".
I wonder if they will update the page at 12am EST? If so, i'll have the update tonight.

Being that Rev A will be added by this update, be sure to run a mobile speed test BEFORE you do the ROM update and perform the speed test after to see if it really made a difference.

The download page wasn't updated, but some guys on engadget found the download link!!! Although I can't say if it's the final release version.

Yes, I have tried Google Maps and it is excellent. Unfortunately, there is no traffic information for Hawaii...
Have you tried the Microsoft Live Search? It is Microsoft's version of Google Maps. Pretty nice too!
I also have another GPS program called iGuidance. Pretty good Nav program. It even speaks street names (although does terrible on Hawaiian names ) when giving turn by turn instructions. It seems to crash alot though...

The thing that bugs me about googlemaps is that it doesn't remember to use gps when you start it up the next time after completely shutting down the program. I have to keep re-enabling it when I start it up again.

Roms been out for months, hope your not just figuring that out. I REALLY like the threaded SMS.
For those that don't have the igo keyboard GO GET ONE RIGHT NOW!!!! It turns the Mogul into a laptop and a MEAN SMS MACHINE!
I truly love this phone... I wouldn't trade it for an iphone if someone gave me $50... Especially with the $50 SERO plan!

I just got the first text message from Sprint about it's availability earlier today.
I have the Rev. A. upgrade from months ago. I know there are hacked roms that were avialbable, but I didn't know the 6.1 "official" upgrade also went out.
