I have a 2nd gen iPod nano (still going strong) that I just plugged in and uploaded new songs to last week. Last night I plugged it in again and nothing happened. At first I though itunes was the culprit not recognizing it but then I looked and saw that 'my computer' isn't even showing a device connected, like the computer isn't even recognizing it at all.

What is weird is that my computer recognizes my iPhone 4 just fine using the same cable.

I tried both USB ports, restarted my computer, even unplugged the computer A/C cable but still it won't recognize the iPod but will recognize the iPhone.

Any ideas?
