Cloud based contact sync services

I used to have a mobile me subscription but I allowed it to lapse since for $159 (family) I don't think it's worth it. At work we have transitioned to the google apps suite for everything and I find it works pretty good. Is anyone using google sync specifically contacts and calendar on a personal device (Iphone)? I'm assuming because it's on google all your information is not exactly confidential so what are the privacy concerns? Those using it are there any features of issues you've experienced?

PMI is all linked to personalized accounts and is kept private. I use Google for everything PMI related and sync to an Android device (Nexus One). It's very awesome. I can wipe my device and get everything (contacts, calendar, email, pictures) loaded back almost instantly.

Interesting. I bet Iphone doesn't but that's not a big deal. Does contact changes push to the cloud made on the phone? I'm assuming yes.

Yes, and vice versa. All changes made are immediately pushed on both sides.

Sweet. I think I'm going to give it a go. Hopefully I can just upload my address book straight from the application without causing a cluster fuck.
