Cheat SpringPCS

This may work with other carriers, but it definitely works with SprintPCS. Simply access their automated, voice-activated customer service system by dialing *2. When that bitch Claire asks, How can I help you? simply say, Dropped Call. This magic phrase will credit your account with one minute of talk time at their highest billing rate, or approximately $0.50. With no limit set on the number of times you can do it, they may end up paying a significant portion of your bill.

Surely it's someone's job to "research" the problem when a customer has credits for 200 dropped calls. Risky proposition.

could just have crappy reception....but when you think about it.....it can pay a hefty amount of your bill......10 calls is 5 dollars off of your bill....20 is 10 dollars.....i think thats pretty good....i don't think theyd research 20 dropped calls

True, but let's say you keep it to 20 "dropped" calls per month. With the cost of hardware at $200, it would take TWENTY(!) months to recoup that investment, provided they didn't get wise to the scheme. And if your mobile provider doesn't check with you about 400 dropped calls (20 drops X 20 months) you're with the provider! Sounds too complicated for me.

I cheated SprintPCS already (by different means), and they caught up with me... a client of mine... owns a company, to be honest... I don't know exactly what they do... but it's all computer related... anyway, he got one of this computer nerds to write a program that would allow me to get internet access for my laptop(anywhere there's PCS Vision service)... it wasn't exactly DSL speed but it was a lot faster than dial up... anyway, I was already paying $10 a month for the unlimited Vision service... so basically all I had to do was to buy the cable to link my Sanyo 8200 phone to my laptop... it worked great for about 2 weeks... but my client warned me that if I used it too much they might find out... well, sure enough... something happened... cause I can't log on anymore... oh well... it cool while I had it.

I am sure it was commonly wide used Loop Hole, and they figured it out and patched it, you know T-Mobile just turned off PORT 80, so now u cant get the full DATA Internet for the Cheap GPRS Plan

I don't understand what Raheel said, so and the SprintPCS thing does work, but after so many calls, they will call you and ask you to go into one of their stores for a software upgrade and something....

that's a lot of time wasted to get 50 cents taken off your bill. Keep in mind you usually have to be put on hold when you call them. Assuming it takes you 5 minutes per call, that's a total of 12 calls in an hour, which equals 6 bucks. 6 bucks for an hour of your time. Minimum wage in most states pays more than that..

^ that's an exaggeration. it doesn't take that long. you do not get put on hold and it only takes 30 sec to a minute.

There is a limit to dropped calls. My dad does it every month and it stops around $20.

but is that a bad thing? Will they figure out what you've been doing if you go in? Cause somehow, they (or someone) cut me off... (the internet thing, that is... the phone still works fine as a phone and web browser)
