Aside from the fact that the Droid Bionic will have Verizon 4G support, it will also feature a 4.3-inch, qHD display and, as is the case with the other Droid models from Motorola, it will run Google Android OS.
The device will be powered by a dual-core processor, with each core clocking in at 1 GHz for a total clockspeed of 2 GHz, though the specific type has yet to be confirmed. It isn't a stretch, however, to speculate that it would be the Nvidia Tegra 2, considering the chip's prevalence in many of the year's upcoming smartphones.
The Droid Bionic will also come equipped with 512 MB of RAM, front- and rear-facing cameras, HDMI out, and will be Flash- and HTML5-ready.

So far Engadget has found two boxes based on W7 Embedded running WMC.
There's this Gateway/Acer one which is still a prototype based on an Intel Sandy Bridge CPU

Then there's the Reycom which will be available 1Q for around $499

Called "Grey Label by Haus of Gaga," the gadgets include a pair of sunglasses with embedded camera and display, a mobile photo printer, and a Polaroid camera.
"This is the first ever pair of sunglasses that can be worn out to protect your eyes from the sun and they can also take pictures," said Lady Gaga as she unveiled the GL20 sunglasses to a packed crowd and a storm of photo flashes at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The Kinect is a revolutionary step in human interaction with games. The wii and the PS3 controllers were more evolutionary. There is a TON of open projects being done with Kinect it really is an amazing little piece of tech.
Android and Chrome are supposed to integrate in the future somehow. It was always Google's intention from the beginning and the reason why Google didn't release a separate Google Voice application for the desktop without making it a Web app and their push for the cloud. Honeycomb may have just sealed Chrome's fate but who knows.

Chicken/Egg really. With more 'power' the dual core touts which I will assume they assign tasks across both procs evenly or even 60/40 will come a need for more power.
YES in theory there are efficiencies because the processors are not working as hard as let's say one processor doing all the work but my bigger concern is having what is a mini-laptop pressed against my face and clipped my body for hours on end.
I'll also go as far to say that with more potential speed and proc power will come beefier apps for phones and games that utilize the speed provided. I'm actually considering just going back to a basic phone with simple text all this extra shit is starting to annoy me.

Nvidia is arguing that dual-core chips are more efficient than single core

Is there a lot of laptops shipping with SATA 3 now? Do any macs ship with SATA 3?
I've been happy with my Vertex 2 so far but from the complaints I've been reading they seem less reliable than Intel.

No Macs and IDK of any laptops either. I know it's common on new mid range and up motherboards.
I don't think OEMs will be switching to SATA 3 until they switch to SSD. There's no benefit of putting a normal laptop drive on SATA 3, so they aren't going to pay the extra price unless they can put an SSD on it. So hopefully by the end of they year SSDs and Sata 3 will become more common. Currently SSDs are only on super high-end laptops or they're an expensive add-on. SSDs still have a way to go to be cheaper and hold more storage.
