Has anybody had any probs accessing AZ on their storm? I get an "a problem occurred while trying to render the page" --that is on the BB browser.

On opera, I can get the home page, but when I enter my logon info it just takes me back to the home page.

Using software v4.7.0.85_P4.0.0.107

I was able to access it fine on my curve, so I know it's not because I am on a BES.

Try hitting one of the subforums (off topic, car forums, etc) and log in through there instead of at the home page. See if that works.

^ On the BB browser, I get that error right after I type in acurazine.com---so it doesn't load the whole page.

On opera the home page doesn't have the subforums listed--just the login and some hot news. After I login I get "thank you for logging in sho_nuff1997. Click here if your browser doesn't reconnect you", then it goes right back to the login page.

For me it loads about 1/2 the page, then gives me the error.

Opera was doing the same thing for me, plus it's not optimized for the Storm so I uninstalled it.

Sucks. Any thoughts on what's causing it?

It may be the way the browser is handling scripts. I'm going to try to turn off scripts and see if the problem replicates.

I cleared out my cache and then checked "support java script" and "allow javascript popups" in the browser options. I also changed the browser identification to firefox.

AZ loaded the first time without the error, but then I logged in and got the error. It seems like it once it's cached it gets the error.

Is there a way to set it up to not cache?

Yeah I got it to load after clearing the cache once. I don't know of any way to set it up to not cache. Looks like we're SOL until a software upgrade.

I was just reading about this today.

http://www.slashgear.com/blackberry-...dsets-2231613/

Yet more firmware leaks for the BlackBerry Storm, and it’s looking like the only way to get a really stable, usable smartphone is to update it unofficially. Version 4.7.0.90 will play nicely with both the Verizon Storm 9500 and the Vodafone Storm 9530, and reportedly brings with it increased stability, faster screen transitions and a new, full keyboard in portrait view.

There’s also talk of more free memory with the new firmware; one user observed their Storm jumping from 36MB free when running v4.7.0.75 to 47MB free in v4.7.0.90. Camera functionality is also said to be quicker, as are screen rotations.

I've been waiting for the full keyboard in portrait view. This sounds like a good update. Hopefully it will fix the no AZ problem.

I found a work around for our little error.

1. Clear cache and cookies
2. go to acurazine
3. enter log on info
4. when you get the the "thank you for logging in" page
5. go to options and clear the cache again (don't clear the cookies)
6. then press "click here if not redirected"
7. you should be logged in now and be able to access AZ no problem.

A little bit of futzing and you're good.

I am running .90 now and the accelerometer and the screen responsiveness is 10X better. The only problem is, there is supposed to be a full QWERTY in portrait mode, but I don't have that. Not sure why.

Verizon will be officially releasing .90 (MR2) late Feb or early March.

Today theme for your storm--still a BETA

This is one of the things I miss most about my curve.

OTA link:

http://worlddeveloper.org/files/1470..._Plus_Test.jad

screen shot:

Since plazmic 4.7 beta leaked this morning i'm sure more themes will be released in the wild quickly.

Just remember when installing any of these leaked softwares or themes, if you do it wrong u can Brick your phone. Install at your own risk.

I've had .90 on my phone for a while, and it's been pretty good. I only had to do a couple battery pulls.

So I finally decided to upgrade my OS. I just installed .103 and many things are improved.

Shonuff, the same thing was happening to me, so I deleted all of my cache, history and cookies and then went to Acurazine.com. Then I went to the TL forum and signed in there. It saved my log-in when I did that.

OK so I can post from my Storm, but one weird thing is that when I go to the main website (www.acurazine.com) I'm not signed in. However, I am signed in in all of the other boards (TL, Off Topic, etc.) when I click on them.

That's interesting.

LOL! My bad However the GF's has been acting up from day one but it was normally right after she did the updates. So that's kinda what made me not even mess with mine. If it aint broke dont fix it! Her accidentally dropping it into a bucket of water and Comet solved that problem though. So they sent her a new one that seems ok so far. The crazy thing is that after drying out for a couple of hours her phone started working again like nothing happened. She even made a post on Crackberry about it.

That has happened a bunch of times with different phones for me.

As soon as it happens, just take out the battery, open it up if you can, and let it dry out for a good day or two. Pop the battery back in and your good to go! Just have to make sure the water didn't damage the mic or speaker.

Did she claim insurance? did she send the old one back?
