Since this phone has officially been released on Rogers now, and will make it's way to the us sometime any of you picked it or will be picking it up?

BlackBerry - New BlackBerry Curve 8900 Features ? New BlackBerry Phone


Basically a bold, but smaller size and no 3G.

 

it's more like a new curve than it is a bold. The only real benefit I see to this phone is UMA.
Otherwise everyone should get a bold.

yeah the bold is def better, but i have two phones so i think i might pick up the 8900 as my second phone, the HTC Fuze is just not cutting it. my first phone is the bold

 

voted no because i don't think it's something i'd get.

but i do like it a lot more than the current version. but it doesn't look as slick as the bold.

i can see the gf getting it though. any word on what network(s) it'll be on?

 

I should be getting my Storm, shortly. AT&T fucked up by not reaching an agreement about the Bold, with our firm. They lost A LOT of customers to Verizon. Dummies.

 

I might get one but I will wait until they are out for a while first. Last time I was an "early adopter", they came out with the Curve with GPS 30 days after I got mine without one and would not let me trade up. Yeah, I was pissed.
