That Bing map is pretty sweet !! The image of my house is about four years old though. The Google map is much newer, maybe two years.

UPDATE: Because of the recent location tracking fiasco we've uncovered that Apple went through we've learned that they're creating their own mapping service that they hope to bring out in a few years.

Also since MS now has a good HTML 5 browser they've converted Bing Maps to HTML5 instead of Silverlight.

It has to be as good or better than google maps when they switch, that's going to take a while.

Also RIM just announced they're adding bing maps, search and voice search as the default to BB OS 7.

Seems like more of a win for MS than RIM. MS is putting the heat on Google, Bing marketshare is still rising every month and google seems to go down slightly or stay the same every month.

It will be interesting to see how much of a boost they get on the mobile side once Nokia starts launching their Windows phones...

Pretty cool. Im surprised this isnt being done more often or sooner. For my line of work we are actually looking at a company that does the plane fly over and depending on how much you want to pay for the packaging the better the images. Some of the images and software included would allow us to even measure the houses good to within less than 1/2 inch
