Angry battery in my cordless mouse just exploded!!!

Damn thing scared the shite out me. battery compartment was covered in battery acid. fawking copper top.

OMFG The same damn thing happened to my cordless optical mouse about a month ago! I was watching TV and the thing blew right off the table! It burned my mouse pad too.

This was the make and model: Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical

uh oh.... i've been using logitech wireless mice like forever. nothing happened though.

does your mouse have built-in batteries or are you using rechargable batteries or regular ones?

that happened to me a year ago or so w/ a Microsoft wireless mouse (Pro Elite keyboard and mouse) making the thing obviously, useless.

I haven't had a problem with my two M$ mice, or my newest logitec one. I have seen a car battery explode, that was slightly interesting.
