Apple: OS X Lion
Anyone else have problem with fullscreen youtube vids? The video is not smooth on either of my macs. Changing to lower resolution doesn't seem to help. Early 2008 iMac, last year's mini.
until they find a way to do those pop-up banner ads in HTML 5, Flash isn't going anywhere....
There is a way to make sites like youtube use the HTML5 video player instead of flash though

Engadget: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 beta brings iCloud support, no bug fixes

No bug fixes, yet they skipped from 10.7 to 10.7.2.
We know what you're thinking: Mac OS X Lion (10.7) has been out for nearly a week, so why have we yet to hear anything about Snow Lion? Patience friends, Apple will roar soon enough -- but for now, 10.7.2 will have to do. Apple released the beta update to developers over the weekend, eschewing any acknowledgment of 10.7.1, or correcting any of the bugs that have popped up over the last week. Instead, Lion's pending second update (build 11C26) is required for testing the operating system with iCloud -- a feature notably absent in the public version of the OS released last week. The new System Preferences iCloud module enables granular management of select features, letting you choose which accounts and services to sync. Full iCloud support is coming in the fall with the release of iOS 5, so it's probably safe to assume that Apple plans to patch some of those bugs in the meantime -- any day now, we hope.

Can anyone recommend a better Windows Remote Desktop client than the Microsoft one? I'm starting to do a lot of RDP work from my imac and the Microsoft one pisses me off. Ideally I would like something like the "remote desktops" program for windows where you can have a list of machines to select from.

Yeah I do that now, not happy with that solution. When I have multiple RDPs open they all show on the dock as remote desktop connection. They don't identify which connection that they have open. When I have a half dozen of them in the dock it's a pain in the ass to click on a bunch of them to find the one that I need.
So I found a solution!

For free it's pretty damn awesome. It can even map my mac disk drives to the remote windows box! This is going to save me so much time.

If you want to enable Filevault 2 and you're running BootCamp make sure you update the drivers on the Windows side first before enabling it. Failure to do so will cause Windows not to boot and it will only work in safemode.
So open bootcamp assistant 4.0 in OS X Lion and download the windows software and drivers and then copy it to an external drive. Boot back in to windows and run the setup.exe from the download files which will install new drivers for all your Macs components including support for FileVault 2. Then you can go back into OS X and enable FileVault 2.
I'm in the process of doing this now.....

You should upgrade your drivers in bootcamp even if you don't use FileVault. Apple has always used shitty old drivers for Windows and these are new drivers from 2011! Can't comment on their shitty-ness but, they're much newer than the last version it gave me.
FYI Apple Boot Camp 4.0 ONLY works with Windows 7. XP and Vista are no longer supported.

So it looks like my stuttering video problem only happens after I wake the mac from sleep. I googled that and found other users with different types of video issues after waking from sleep. Most complain about freezing. Anyone else notice any weirdness after wake from sleep? I uninstalled/reinstalled Flash, no luck. Reset PRAM, no luck.

In the comments though people are reporting issues, dont' know if was resolved as I'm too lazy to read all the comments.
I'm with you on that one. My iMac has been running flawlessly from a software standpoint so I haven't been in a rush to want to update anything. I'm kinda scared to update it because of this.
My Google Chrome keeps acting weird on Lion. Before it was when I played a flash video the area in the browser windows where the video was at was invisible like there was a hole in my browser window and I could see my desktop through it. I did a reinstall of Chrome and that fixed it but just noticed on an apple.com page that the entire page is now invisible and I can see the desktop behind it.
Also not really a fan of the two finger swipe to switch between pages, if you're not careful a two finger horizontal scroll can be taken as a two finger previous browser page motion. I like the three finger swipe better on Snow Leopard and since I don't use multiple desktops or the dashboard I want it back!

If you previously installed the 10.7.2 GM be advised that the one released today has a new build number. The thread linked below has a link to the combo build and the reversioner. You need to run reversioner first. If you did not install 10.7.2 prior to the official release than ignore this post.

and found other people complaining about the same issue. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.
. I couldn't believe that update was only like 20MB.
I even tried a fresh install of Lion last week.
