good news for existing customers..
new customers will just make do with 2GB data.. i have wifi at home and work.. i dont believe i'll have to worry very much (i hope)
so whos getting the black finish/ white finish.
im going with the minority and getting white.. i dont know a single person with one. (3G or 3GS)

I am the minority and I have a white 3GS and had a white 3G. When I picked up my 3G I had the last Black 16G in the store in my hand. Some lady at the next counter had her husband on the phone yelling at her cause he wanted black so I gave it to her. 
I ended up liking the look of the white and the reaction so I just got another one with the 3GS. Doesn't make any difference, it's covered by the Black Otterbox Commuter cover anyway. But of course, you don't know me.

btw this says the EVO is 25fps... dunno which is correct. because, 25 would just be wrong.. plain WRONG!!!

My wife has a white 3GS. It's pretty nice looking. I'll probably go with black so that we won't confuse them at first. Then again she's getting a clear blue case and I'll just pick up an ebay case or something.
Unfortunately this started a trend by carriers that if you want any smartphones you have to pay the higher fee. It's not necessarily pointless because you can set it to Wifi only. But it's not just iPhones as ATT also includes BB's, Android phones, WinMo phones, LG Expo, and some others in this tier. If you have ATT or T-Mobile, your best bet is to be an unlocked GSM phone like a Nokia and get the $15 data or no data. I believe with the 5800 Xpress Music you can download Ovi maps for free through Nokia's app store. Be prepared to shell out $200+ though if you want Wifi.

I just thought of something. I kind of forgot over time and amid all the excitement but, I was expecting the next iPhone to be 4g. I guess that network isn't really there, eh. This is pretty fkin stupid. When a sizable number of other current gen phone are 4g, you give me 3g again???? You muthafukin idiots!!!!!!!

My guess is when AT&T finally rolls out their 4g/lte network the iPhone will be called iPhone 4g/lte.
And probably the same IF it goes to verizon.

Been with AT&T for 3 years and done with them. I am going back to Sprint on the EPRP program. The EVO 4G blows the new and old iphones out of the water with features. Plus it doesn't have Apple looking over it's shoulders on all the APPS that won't get approved.
Sprint is still cheaper on their plans vs AT&T. I am just sick and tired of the many drop calls I get and everyone I know with iphones have the same issue. I have had the iphone 3g, 3gs.
