So Itunes will swap the phone number?
Another thing I can try is swaping my wife's phone before June 24, sim, Itunes and all and then go for the upgrade. The question is whether the phone or the number is the upgradable part.
Going to ATT today to pre order...Im psyched!

if you want all your stuff on the new iphone just back it up on itunes first then sync your iphone 4 to your itunes account.

I'm keeping my 3Gs because I need a 3G phone that can accept regular sim cards for when i travel abroad.

Plus get a discount with the plan with my wifes company
Plus, we don't use heavy data, so going to the cheaper plan
Ordering mine of the 15th

my brother when he went from 2G to 3G, did the same thing (he actually made few extra bucks)
and 3GS is still an awesome device imo...

I currently have a 3GS, wife has a 3G. Plan is for me to get the 4G, Wife gets my 3GS. I don't think I will get that much for her 3G (8GB) and was thinking about getting him an Itouch anyway, so he gets the 3G without service and uses it as a touch.
