Already placed an order for APP. I've been using the original version for a year and have been really happy with them. But with the ANC for working in data centers every day, I'm sure I'll like the new ones even more.
I forgot to make the distinction that 4.5h of listening time is with ANC enabled. In that case, pretty good!
Gonna wait for more impressions on the actual sound quality and in depth reviews, but I am definitely intrigued.

I opened up my AirPod Pros about 10 minutes ago. I put them on wearing the medium tips and do the ear fit test, it says good seal. Then the right AirPod just randomly falls out while I’m sitting and not moving. Ok. Let’s switch to the small tips, I usually wear the small tips anyways. Put on small tips and run ear fit test, it says good seal. Cool. Now I’m standing still not doing anything and the left AirPod falls out, hits my tile floor, bounces, and lands in my cat’s water dish.
It was only in there about 3 seconds, so far it’s doing ok.
Im gonna have to work on the fitment issue, maybe I’m not putting them in at the right angle, IDK. Never had this with the normal AirPods, they always fit well. I’m sure I’ll figure it out but that was quite a scare to have possibly ruined one within the first 10 minutes

Because the mediums are too big and they don't fit in well. I think I figured it out, since the tips are oval shaped instead of round it matters which angle you insert them, it just had to figure out the angle that worked best. And I'm sticking with small since these stay in the best for me.

Lost an ear tip last night.
Went to the Apple Store this morning and I think I was the first person to lose one. First they told me that they had some but I had to make a Genius Bar appointment to get them replaced. But luckily person making the appointments agreed that while that was the policy it was a little ridiculous. I’m not sure what they did to get around it but they brought me out a replacement set. It’s not all 3 sizes just a pair of whichever size you lost.
Stores have demo tips in case someone wants to try them out. They just sold me an unused set of demo tips for $3.95

They’re selling you actual replacement units. Not the “unused” demo units

Apple is so damn brilliant. First they sell phones with glass screens. Then they sell little things that fall out of your ears. Then they sell smaller stuff that falls off the things that fall out of your ears.

I finally picked the AirPods pro from the store. Very happy with them, great experience other than comfort. Can’t wear these as long, but I’ll keep experimenting with the tips.
The OG AirPods I could wear until the buds ran out of charge, no problem.
Bass response is obviously better since you know, ear canal seal is kind of important.

Which (used) ipads to get?
My company is selling their used ipads. All the same specs. According to our IT guys, they all work, all the same. I believe they are ipad 2s, so they are old. I know what I'm getting and it serves my purpose. But I still want to get the best (better) one of the bunch.
My main concern is battery life. Obviously, some are used more than others. Is there an app, or something I can use to measure how well the ipad hold battery power?
Or is there something like an "odometer" reading I can check to see which of the 20+ I should buy?

How much are they selling for? Thats the most important question to see if its even worth it. I still have two iPad 3's for my kids. They make due...but they are long in the tooth and many apps they are becoming outdated.
So, unless you're getting them for like $25-50 bucks...I'd pass.

There's a MacOS app called CoconutBattery that when you plug in an iDevice, it can tell you the battery health

Transferring pictures/vidoes to PC issue with iOS13.
I never had issues before. It seems like it started to happen after I updated to iOS13.
While transferring from phone to PC, it would suddenly be disconnected, no device found. And I would have to unplug and plug it back in, to establish connection again. Tired this on two computers. Three different phones 8, 8 Plus, and the new 11.
This connection issues seems to happen only after several transfers. Meaning, in the beginning, everything works fine. I'm able to transfer 10-15. Then the issue pops up. Disconnect and connect. Then transfer 5. Repeat. And then it's like I can only transfer one, or none.
Did something changed?
Been an iPhone User since 3S, so I like to think I know what I'm doing, even if I'm not an Expert.
I know how one edits video Save-As has changed, so I'm wondering if there is something I need to learn over again.

maybe a bug with the "Disable USB Accessories" feature?
Do you let the phone lock during the transfer process?
Its not supposed to cut off the connection if its in use, but maybe try allowing access to USB accessories when the phone is locked and see if that helps.

Ugh. I knew I shouldn’t have updated my iPhone 7 Plus from iOS 12 to iOS 13.
battery life has gone to shit and my phone constantly runs warm.
kind of had to update because my camera stopped working.
Guess I’ll be finally upgrading my phone this year... thanks Tim Apple
