Suppsoeodly it’s just Verizon. But I’m on att and I’ve have issues. Though it seems like they are slowly clearing up.
In in my house though my signal strength shows weaker than my X.
So much for better internals for better reception.

Yeah iOS 12 has made me decide to keep my phone. What I am waiting for is to see if any go on sale in the next few months. I know they can't discount the price, but some places will run specials like "buy an iPhone and get a $100 store gift card." If I get one of those I have decided to upgrade, but mine is still running so it's not urgent yet.

I upgraded and I'm still second guessing myself. :-)
The display is absolutely brilliant and the camera's really wonderful.
But...antennagate. I've only dropped one call so far, but, still...it's just so dumb they wouldn't do better after all the other trouble they went through.
If you're on T-Mobile, there might a little more of an excuse to upgrade from an iPhone X than if you are on Verizon or AT&T.

I'm on AT&T, running a 256GB iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10.3.3
Still works plenty fast for what I do. Battery life is still ok for now.

I'm wondering if it's that more people are upgrading from these new phones so more people are having the problem. We mentioned in here that the reception of the X was worse than previous iPhones (except maybe the 4), I haven't noticed the XS Max reception being any better or worse for me than my X.

My reception has been fine. Some data issues but as I said those are resolving and getting faster. So no regrets here.

Loving it so far. Got the XS Max in Silver 256 and a nice Forest Green leather case. Paired with the Series 4 watch and Im good until October.

FedEX picked up my iPhone X before I got home, so I guess I'm stuck with an XS Max and must banish thoughts of inadequacy. :-)

Just rang up a Xs Max 256 to replace my X, along with a 44mm Watch, which will be my first, yes finally jumped on the watch train.
I have no idea when they will get here.

Phone ship date said November 11th - 19th at first, so I was like whatever, now I just got an email showing UPS delivery for tomorrow!
Watch delivery still says November, hopefully that will change too

Since you guys wont send me your boner pics I ended up going into the store. It's defiantly a sexy phone. The feel, the screen, super nice. Camera was great and I'm sure outside pics would of been awesome. For sure a top contender for me.

Anyone else notice this?
https://www.macrumors.com/2018/09/28...selfie-camera/
probably just an issue with noise reduction.
wonder if the issue is there with 3rd party apps.

I just tried a selfie with the both cameras...both showed all the detail, creases, bumps, pores...so no smoothing here.
