Swervin, you gotta grow a pair....
read slowly next time....no one is bashing anything....it was a damn discussion....
I didnt say anywhere Android is better than Apple....I only said Apple has stopped innovating new things and the discussion started....
and I guess am not the only one who things that way:
http://www.cnbc.com/id/100740849
https://www.google.com/search?q=appl...hrome&ie=UTF-8
all I was saying is "Apple products were cool"....when the first iphone came out, I was in line to get the product and I paid $600+tax for the 8GB variant...BECAUSE IT WAS COOL....I desired it, wanted it....
the new products have not had that (atleast for me)....I would love to own an apple product again (I had a regular ipod, ipod shuffle (when I went running), got an ipod nano for the car)....but now, I have a MotoActv (google device), Nexus 7 (in my dash for radio/nav/etc) and a Galaxy note 2....I am baffled on how this switch has happened....
and I just think that Google technology with new features/innovations from Samsung/Asus have lead me there....
I would love to own an Apple, that device didnt crash as much (well my Note wudnt too if I hadnt rooted the device....then again I wanted Jelly Bean on my phone)...and I loved the features which Apple had to offer....the sync was super easy to use....
so again no one is bashing any products....we are just comparing....
....and I be darned if someone comes in here and praises a BMW/Audi or any other car...your butthole will be sore for days i reckon....

I gotta grow a pair, why exactly? Because my opinion does't line up with yours, I have to grow a pair.. What the fuck ever dude. Maybe i'm not the one that should "read slowly", because if you did read what I said, you would have figured out that I wasn't directing my comments to YOU.. I was being very general about the entire thread. On purpose.
And for what it's worth.. I don't even own a Honda product.. SO go ahead and bash them all you want..
To be fair, I don't really care that people bash Apple. People are entitled to their own opinions. It's just really fucking annoying when I see a response pop up in this thread and I click on it thinking it's going to be news, but it's not.. It's some fucktard chiming in on why they think Android is better than Apple. Or "Android has had that feature for ever".... It just gets old...

well all the updates that I have seen so far are stole from Android (the whole notification area was an Android thing, add a power menu to that with the ability to clear allll the notifications and you are looking at a handsome looking law suit )

The sizzle in the Steak
Clayton Morris, anchor for the Fox News Channel, has made a couple of bold claims that are sure to get iPhone fans excited for the iPhone 5S.
Both claims were made through his Twitter account citing “sources” telling him things. The first is that Apple has decided to move to a 64-bit A7 processor and that by doing so the iPhone 5S is showing a 31 percent performance gain over the A6 chip in the iPhone 5. That’s massive if true. It would make using the new smartphone and iOS 7 a very enjoyable and fluid experience.
The second claim is that the iPhone 5S will ship with a new chip inside that is dedicated to motion tracking. If so, we can expect Apple to focus on telling us about a major camera upgrade and how beneficial motion tracking is to the experience. Previous rumors have claimed a 120fps slow-motion mode will also be added, so that could tie up nicely with motion tracking and make the 5S and even better digital camera replacement.

Curious, did Apple ever reveal an iOS and a new iphone together? Or have they always been separate events?

In '08, '09, and '10 they did OS 2.0/iPhone 3G, iOS 3.0/iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.0/Iphone 4 together. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wwdc#2010s

Hmmm pretty sure they always had some preview announwnt early in the year with the actually announcement/release around the same time as iPhone
Suzuka Master
But you aren't showing off features, like the old events assuming they were combined with the OS. (think thats when they actually launched iPhones in the summer and not fall)

That's why I was so disappointed with the 4s. It used to be here's the new phone. Here's the software that will work on it so you have to buy it ASAP. And then they'd show you the neat apps and 3rd party apps.

I'm willing to bet many of those people are being paid to sit there and wait. Companies like ifixit, case manufacturers, blogs are basically in an arms race to get their hands on a handset and post a review before anyone else. For them paying someone $500 to go sit in line for a day or two is just a cost of business.

In the accessories industry there's basically two strategies, the first being trust that your partner factory has hooks to get details out of foxconn to start making them ahead of time, and have inventory in the states for launch day. This requires putting lots of capital at risk if they are wrong, but can be a massive win if they are right, this being said your inventory still needs to be verified on a real phone.
The second is have all your prototypes ready to go, factory time in asia booked, buy launch day device work non stop for days verifying everything and racing it off to asia for tooling and production then air freighting product to the states to try and hit the holiday season.
In either case you need a device on launch day in your hands so getting it wrong by 10 days and having your behind covered is not the end of the world.

Finger print ID will solve security issues with NFC.
I'll be very surprised if the new phone does not have NFC
