I don't think so. Since they want the iPad to match the iPhone in layout, which is the ghey reason they switch the orientation lock. The iPhone won't have these multitoich gestures cause the screen is too small.

well engdaget did post that there is a rumor that they will get rid of the home button

i would HATE it if they did. i think id have to play with the newer multi touch gestures first.

Multigestures is cool...but I want them implement them WITHIN the apps. Like swiping to move back and forward on webpages like with the trackpads.

personally with the multi touch gestures, i can see no real need for it, except for triple click handicap options, and when you need to force off the phone or put it into DFU/recovery mode etc. thats about it .

for the iPad i can see it, iPhone no since i think people would use that phone one handed more.

me thinks the new dual core processor and new gpu will allow 1080p playback on both iPad iPhone and Apple TV.

also i can see maybe the iPhone/iPad having a camera capable of capturing 1080p

Funny, for me it all comes down to software and Apple has the software (the apps) I want. Back in '93 I bought Apple because I wanted the better computer, but it didn't have any software. Now it's flopped.

Yohan it's also getting a new GPU. iirc it's supposed to provide 2x or 4x the power and can have multiple cores, iirc I think up to 16 or something.

I can totally see it having 1080p because the new dual core androids are getting/have it.


The HP/Palm Tablet looks interesting but I'd like to see what they change to the OS first, cause I dont think stock webOS would work well on a tablet

Supposedly the new iPad/iPhone GPU will be the same one in the PSP2.
Just the PSP2 will get more cores available.
