I like to load mine up with movies/tv shows when I travel, I've found the 16gb annoying as i'm always jockying for space, so I'm going 64GB this time, just like my phone hoping this will alleviate the annoyance of always moving things around. Music on Iphone, Video and games on iPad, happy dougler.

Can't see not going 64 or bigger when you do that, HD movies are five to six GB. TV shows two to four GB. And when the apps are get bigger, to take use of the faster processors.

No reason to keep movies on the Ipad after you watch them.

Still rocking the original launch day iPad 1. May be time for an upgrade.

There is a reason to have enough space to be able to carry the ones you want. I always carry about four movies and some Big Bang Theory with me when.

You don't have fast internet everywhere you go to make it work, and in some cases don't have internet at all, so cloud is useless.

Jup hit the nail on the head, i.e when travelling typically the wifi you have access to is junk, so downloading new content from itunes isn't an option, or I don't have time to site around and wait for it to DL. So I'll load up enough stuff to keep me entertained for say 15 hours of flying/airport time, and maybe for a rainy day before a trip and not have to have to worry about wifi. Plus some of the games I have are upwards of 2GB already so it's easy to chew up the space.

I don't know about you all but I do the same thing on my phone. I currently have S1 of Game of Thrones as backup viewing material on my i5.

I use my phone strictly for audio, since watch video is pretty annoying on it. I do have like 30Gb of tunes on it though.

The Mini is a nice size for video though. Didn't want to pay for a movie rental at a hotel, so I rented the same movie from Amazon for $4 and enjoyed it just the same.

I'm liking the mini more and more but company gives us reg iPads so I'll take it. I will say, the logitech keyboard they supplied makes for a great travel companion and I never carry my full laptop anymore.

I wonder what the MSRP will be on a retina equipped mini. I doubt they will be able to keep it as cheap as it currently is.

I wonder if it's even worth it for me to sell our iPad 2 or just keep it as the "beater"... Lol

Edit: Holy shit they still go for $200+ on Craigslist! Lol

I want to watch but I also like the live blogs.

What's your poison? Ars, Verge, Engadget, Gizmodo, etc...?

Personally I like The Verge's live blog style.

I'm keeping my iPad 3 until next years.

Gonna upgrade my iPhone/iPad on the same cycle.

Unless I switch to the android phone.

Amazon is offering $285 for an iPad3, Wifi, 64GB, Black, not a bad price IMO for a product that is about 1 1/2 years old now. That price is for 'great' condition by the way.

Their alarm clocks must have been reset after they updated to iOS7.
