Proud to be. Ive been wanting this for a long time.

The only complaint I think Ill have is the one port. A way to charge and to do other things is a big deal to me.

Apple put the fastest fanless system available in it. As the tech grows it will get faster.

But for me, I really only need a basic Ipad system with a good keyboard and trackpad on the road. This is what I need.

I recently consolidated down to 3 tablets and only 2 laptops. I feel like I need a 3rd.

 

Well, I did all I could do. Asked my wife to order me the watch for my bday and ordered the Macbook. Now the waiting game.

I can't get a shipping date yet. I got the max model (512GB 1.3 Ghz) not even sure if they are built yet

 

 

So not the speediest thing in the world, but I like it so far. Getting used to the keyboard and installing my stuff on now.

So I found in a shop the 512GB model with 1.2 Ghz processor in stock and couldnt wait, so I bought it. I also have on order a 512GB 1.3 Ghz Space Grey model which I got for a discount of $1605 plus tax (usually $1499+150=$1744). Im going to sell it most likely, so if anyone wants to buy it off me let me know and we will talk about it.

Charging my macbook with an external battery is awesome. going to get the $20 USB adapter today so I can install Bootcamp.

I think you're all crazy for jumping on gen 1 of this kind of product. Then again I probably don't have near the amount of disposable income as you guys.

I feel like gen 2 will be 5x better than g1 in this niche. And it'll be worth the wait.
