Also one of the users, Lon Lawrence, has put up a bunch of tutorials on how to make your own faces with the addition of shadows that move with the gyro!

Finally, Download Free Smartwatch Faces for Moto 360, LG G Series, Samsung Gear, Sony SmartWatch 3 and Asus ZenWatch | FaceRepo has a bunch of good stuff but stuff gets taken down by the companies if you're not fast enough.
Fix the issue is300eater?
Mine

Check out these new smartwatch designs.

^this is one real already. $350ish designed my Michael Bastion. Look good to me. I just wish the screens had a better resolution. Pixels make it looks cheap.

Then Kairos went and designed this beauty..

That looks gorgeous in my opinion.

At the 1:50 marker they show the second design. I like the second design (gold and silver one I posted) better than the black on black design. Looks like the one I dislike is their main model but that second one is just gorgeous.

FYI the Motos are on sale at Best Buy. The metal band ones are $250. I'll wait a little longer. Had I gotten my bonus today like usual (stupid new overlords) I'd probably have picked one up.
...so, at the time, I picked the G Watch R over the 360 because I liked the sportier design, but now I'm starting to see people with the 360, and I'm thinking maybe I should've gone with the 360 for the bigger screen... IMO, it's noticeably bigger despite the black bar at the bottom

In a year or slightly less they'll have much better choices regarding design. Every watch out there right now has drawbacks.
LG GWR's screen is a little too small, lacks an ambient light sensor and the faux diver bezel makes certain watch faces look redundant. I don't like the 360's flat tire, the always-on battery life, and the fact that it doesn't use a Qualcomm chip.
I like the size of my GWR, but if they managed to keep the diameter the same, yet increased the size of the screen, as well as added an ambient light sensor I think it would be perfect.

Well the new pebble is announced:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...=getpebble.com
'kickstarter' should reach 4 million in about 2.5 hours after announcement, hah.
I didn't notice the flat tire on my 360 after too long. You do lean towards stuff with black backgrounds so it just fits right in.
I haven't touched my 360 in ages, though, and use my pebble. It's obviously not as pretty but I just find the pebble UI and HW soooooo much better. Android wear is far too clunky. And it's very very nice to go on long weekend trips and not having to worry about charging it.
The new pebble fixes my big gripes:
1) microphone for quick responses
2) Thinner - the original pebble is a bit thick and catches on my coat sleeves (which means I'm struggling to take it off)
3) International character support (chinese, for me)
Some Color is a nice perk.
It's not clear how it charges or how big the screen is.

There's a side question of why is it even using 'kickstarter' then, but that's a side issue. I wish they had a 'Pebble Time Steel' though.

(but damn, $1200!)
