I need a cd key.. Cant find mine anywhere . Just got a new hdd and need to install sw ASAP!

Been searching the net all morning and cant find anything that works..

 

Do yourself a favor and toss that CD and go buy/pirate a USEFUL OS.

Then stick with the newest version of Windows 98, the one before Windows ME came out...

Windows ME sucks!!!

 

ME sucks ass, if you dont like 2K/XP, stick with 98... if you want, download Serials2000 or go to www.astalavista.com to see if they have a key...

 

i have xp at home and my friend looked up a bunch of them on some hack site and one of them worked.

 

There is no reason to use any Windows OS other than 2000 or XP. They should run everything fine as long as you have all the latest Windows Updates and drivers. I find 2000 to be slightly more stable but XP to be slightly more compatible software-wise.

There is no reason to use anything previous to 2000 nor to use ME. ME is garbage - basically an updated Win98 with even more bugginess.

If 2000 or XP won't do it for you, try something non-Microsoft. :p

 

I'd second going to 98 SE instead of ME. The ME install on my machine lunches itself regularly. Win 2k does not want to play with my video card. Have not tried XP.
