Anyone have experience with Sandisk mp3 Players?

I'm considering picking up one of the newer Sansa mp3 players (either c150 or e250), but want to know if they are recognized like a flash drive or if you need to use their software to transfer music/files. Anyone know?

Sansa is like any other flash drive players.

Please elaborate. The iPod Nano is a flash player, but requires iTunes. If the Sansa is pluged into a USB port, will it be recognized as a drive or as a media device that requires software?

iPod players doesn't require iTunes (unless it does, which would be extremely retarded). But whatever.

The Sansa is a flash drive player, it has expansion capability (microSD). It won't need software for you to download music onto it.

It does (or other software to circumvent it)

Sandisk mp3 players suck. My friend has one. I swear they are one of the most unintuitive menu designs ever.

Sandisk players rate very high. Unfortunately I don't have first-hand experience with one. One thing most ppl don't know, in terms of sales, they are 2nd behind Apple. A very distant 2nd, but still. Most of the small players have annoying menus - because they have very minimal buttons.

I recently got a iaudio U2 and am quite happy with it. It's a bit expensive though.
A good site for mp3 player reviews is dapreview.com

I only saw one Scandisk player @ Best Buy which you couldn't re-charge it. I had Samsung before but the new bike owner took it with the bike... now I have Philips 6gb and got it under $200 from Best Buy
