My buds date got pushed back now showing Saturday - Tuesday but were supposed to be here Friday as well when I ordered. I will take that though since my phone ship date moved forward.
Don't even know if I will keep or sell the buds since I already have the Pixel Buds 2.
Grabbed a phone last night. White Pro 128gb with the green pixel buds. Not sure what I'm going to do with them since I have the Buds 2 already but we'll see.

Interesting thought I had with the buds. Looking on eBay there have been several sales of individual buds and then the case and charger as another separate piece. Sold for $50-60 for each piece.
I've only had my Pixel 5 since last December, but the 6 does look tempting.
If the 6 had the zoom camera, I'd be even more tempted. Why have the zoom exclusive on the 6 Pro. I'd rather have the 6 Pro specs but in the 6 size.
I got the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case yesterday so I was able to compare the size to the 4xl and the 5. The 6 Pro is huge, about the same width as the 4xl but slightly taller. The 5 fits inside the 6 Pro case with plenty of room to spare But...specs.
I half expect Google to release a 6a or something along those lines next year with most of the Pro specs in the 6 size.
I've rocked the big phones since the Nexus 6P so I'm not scurred. The P5 is the first "smaller" phone I've had in a long time. I'd guess a 6a would be more of a 6 lite than a 6 pro lite. Though if the 6 had the same features as the pro in a smaller size without the glass back I definitely would have bought that one.
With the pricing of the 6 the 6a is going to have to be $399 I imagine which is crazy. I can't see it having near the 6 specs only a few months later for another $200 off. Obviously it will be plastic bodied but what else will they reduce. No 5G? Only 6GB memory?

I've had the 6P too. I still think the 3XL was the perfect form factor. It was a larger phone but it felt natural in my hand. The 4xl doesn't feel the same way. The 5 is small but I've gotten used to it.
I think the 6A will be a cross between the two. Size of the 6, camera from the Pro, smaller/lower res screen, smaller battery, less memory, 1 storage size only. I'm basing this on absolutely nothing though.

The normal and wide cameras on the pro are the same as the non-pro. You just get the tele camera on the pro and the better front camera. I can't imagine they'd include features on the highest end model on the low end one while skipping the middle. Who knows though, weirder things have happened.
I never had the 4XL but heard it was kinda weird because of the blocky shape. The 2XL and 3XL were both great.

It's funny I am the opposite. I don't like how wide the 3XL feels in hand. The slightly narrower 4XL has been my favorite Pixel phone bar far. It just fits so easily in the hand to me. Maybe my hands are smaller.
Can't imagine the 6A has the Pro camera. No way they give the discount phone the zoom lens in my mind. I could see them maybe give the 6A the Pro selfie camera though since people love their selfies.
It just showed up. It feels amazing in the hand. Perfect weight, the materials feel incredibly high end. I'm transferring data from the 5 now, but I'll post some impressions once I have some time to play with it.
My old personal phone is a Pixel 5, and yes - it feels huge in comparison.
But compared to my 4xl for work, it's slightly taller, just as wide, and a fraction thicker. Yet the curved edges make the phone feel more natural in my hand.
It's hard getting used to the on screen fingerprint reader though, but it responds quickly to my thumb.
The 4XL had the side squeeze as well. Definitely going to miss that feature. I used it a lot so I could use assistant without having to say the hot words.
Disappointed leaked screenshots showed face unlock but it doesn't have it.
So complaint on android 12 as a whole. No being able to do anything about the calendar or weather in the top left is really annoying. If you want to use one of the new material widgets with the same info in it it doesn't remove that info from that spot so now its on the screen twice which bugs the hell out of me.
How does the lock button feel? Biggest complaint besides the battery in my 3. Mine after 2+ years gave out so I have to lock with the accessibility menu and can never shut the phone off/run out of battery again or it's a tomb.
Higher quality photos compared to the 5. It's fast too. Colors seem good. Action pan seems cool too but I haven't given it a real test, just messing around in the house.

I mean...it feels good? Lol. I've got a case on it now and I don't make it a habit to hit the power button unless I need to reboot or shut down.

Yeah the button needed to be squeezed to hell on mine and now doesn't work at all. Not sure if mine was a dud in that sense or the QC sucked for them.
My 3xl occasionally had a sticky power button that caused it to randomly bootloop. Believe it or not whenever that happened I'd put it in the fridge for 20 minutes and it would be fine for a few weeks 😂

6 Pro arrived on Saturday after FedEx tracking telling me first thing in the AM it was at the facility 30min away from me but wouldn't be here till Monday. Few quick observations. Build quality is amazing for Android phones.
I would say it is as good as Samsung or even a little better. I do think Apple definitely still wins this area. I don't love the curved screen but I don't hate it either. I does help make the phone fit your hand better than if they had a flat screen like the iPhone. Oddly enough this is the first phone I have received where I wasn't immediately wowed with it over my previous phone. I think that says a bit about how much I really liked the 4XL. I am kind of bummed to put it away although once I get everything configured on my 6 Pro I will do the work to make my 4XL my work phone so I will keep getting to use it for another year.
The camera seems like a step up in good light. I so far am disappointed in the nighttime photos. They don't seem any better than my 4XL. My phone has not picked up the latest patch for both the camera or the phone as a whole though so maybe it will be better soon. Can't really comment on battery life yet as not enough time.
