Not sure, because all the fine print says "ticket required" and "in-store only"...
I think the "no in-store pickup" means it can't be purchased online to be picked up in store. 15 per store minimum.

it might be a madhouse at best buy tomorrow morning. i wanted to get that sony vaio for 399.

 

Forget morning; I was in line from 11:00 PM till 4:00 AM, and was about 60th in line. Didn't get the $229 deal, but did get the $399 Sony Vaio.

 

Dang, I wanted to that Vaio too! But, it was already packed at Best Buy when I drove there at 3:30am! The line was about as long as a football field. You're lucky! I wanted that Vaio, a heck of a deal! Well, since you're in Maine I guess you're lucky because the population isn't as big as if you live in the Chicagoland area.

Was it worth it $399? I'm hoping to get a Vaio maybe there is a after Christmas sale or something. I wanted to get the compaq one at Circuity City, but I think I want a Sony Vaio instead.

Does anyone know which is a better laptop?

Sony Vaio, Compaq, Toshiba, or HP? All of these have good deals right now kind of.

There was no chance if you waited till 3:30 AM. Like I said, when I got there at 11:00 PM there was already 50+ people there. They started lining up at 7 PM!!

But yeah, the Vaio is nice and I'm glad I got it. I wanted the Toshiba/printer combo just because of price.
