[AT&T/Cingular] Phone replacement?
Hey guys....I never asked cingular if they replace your phone with the same model when you claim insurance on it......i'm guessing they do....just wanted to double-check.....

If the phone you carry is still offered, they will replace it. If it's no longer offered, they will give you a "comparable" model. This means jack, being that they give you whatever they want from your current manufacturer. $4/month insurance is kind of worth it once you get outside your 1-yr warranty.

I always managed to have the insurance to replace my phone with a better one.
I jumped from Startac to V60, and from V60 to V400.
It might be harder nowadays, but for the V60, I will push to get the V551 (because of the brand). If its not possible, try to get the LG1400 or any comparable dual screen flip phone.
