Congrats to the Mets for taking a big win from the defending champs. Glavine looked stellar, defense was great and the offense was there as usual scoring 6 runs.

being a long, long-time braves fan, i really hope glavine gets #300. he's my favorite player, and he's always been overshadowed by maddux and smoltz. and even steve freakin-avery!

Every game counts, everyone always says the same thing as you, but then at the end of the season when it's a 1/2 game difference for clinching or winning the wildcard, people realize how important those games in April really are.
